Welcome to SLS Construction and Remodeling, a family-owned, woman-owned construction and remodeling company based in Caldwell, ID. We proudly serve homeowners throughout the Treasure Valley with quality craftsmanship, honest service, and a personal approach to every project.
At SLS, Will Johnson leads the hands-on construction side of the business, bringing years of experience and a passion for quality craftsmanship to every project. Candice Johnson works alongside him in the business, helping manage operations, customers, finances, scheduling and sometimes out in the field to keep each project moving forward.
Together, we believe the best work comes from treating every customer's home as if it were our own. From the first conversation to the final walkthrough, we stay personally involved and committed to do the job right.
Meet the Team
Will and Candice Johnson
SLS Construction and Remodeling is owned and operated by Will and Candice Johnson, a husband and wife team who built the company together.
Will leads the hands-on construction side of SLS. With years of experience working in the trades, he takes pride in personally overseeing the work, solving the problems and making sure each project is completed with quality and attention to detail.
Candice works alongside Will in the business, handling many of the behind the scenes details that keeps SLS moving - including customer communication, scheduling, finances, administration, invoicing and project coordination. She is also involved in the field when needed.
Together the bring different strengths to the same goal: providing homeowners with quality work, honest communication and a contractor they can trust.
Our Story
SLS Construction and Remodeling was founded by Will and Candice Johnson, a husband and wife team who have been together since high school.
They moved to the Treasure Valley when they were just 18, built their lives here, and became part of the community they love. Before entering construction, Will worked in retail for more than 10 years, while Candice built her career inn the financial field.
During the uncertainty of COVID, they made the bold decision to start their own construction company and create a lasting future for their family.
What began as a family business has grown through hard work, determination, and a commitment to treating customer right. Will's hands on construction experience and dedication to craftsmanship became the foundation of the company work, while Candices experience in finance and business operations helped build the structure behind it.
Today, SLS is a woman-owned, family-operated construction and remodeling company built on the same values that started it: Integrity, attention to detail, personal service and pride in a job well done.
Will and Candice's motivation is simple - to transform homes, serve their neighbors, and build a business their family can be proud of.
Will and Candice are a great team! The have done 2 separate jobs for us, he is very conscientious of his work and it shows. We had siding replaced on lower walls of home and painted to match and a Front Door and casing replaced he did an excellent job and in the amt of time and cost he quoted.
